Bonnet Bay Child Care Centre
Bonnet Bay Child Care Centre is located in the grounds of Bonnet Bay Public School and educates & cares for children between the ages of 0 to 6 years, operating 5 days per week, 7am – 6pm, 50 weeks of the year (excluding public holidays).

Bonnet Bay Child Care Centre was established in 2011 to meet the increasing needs of parents in the community. Due to the centre being located in the Bonnet Bay Primary School grounds, children can enjoy a seamless transition from early childhood education to primary school in a familiar and caring environment. This also compliments our Before & After School Care service that is also on the school grounds, allowing all your child’s schooling and child care needs to be met in one convenient location.

Bonnet Bay CCC consists of 2 rooms, Parrot Room (0-3 year olds) and Kookaburra Room (3-5 year olds). The Kookaburra and Parrot rooms are set up to encourage children to explore, experiment and learn through a variety of indoor/outdoor play experiences. The classroom doors open out to a spacious deck area, allowing plenty of fresh area throughout the day. The rooms are also air conditioned for both cooling and heating according to the Australian Standard. Beyond the playground fence is the play area the Primary School children use for sport and lunch times. A great opportunity for children with siblings to say 'G’day' during the day! All of our educators follow the strict accreditation requirements of ACECQA to ensure the highest quality of care for your child.

In keeping with the natural environment surrounding the Public School, our outdoor area has an explorative native garden, dry creek bed, sandpit, soft fall area for climbing equipment, quiet areas and a garden area for the children to grow their choice of vegies, fruit, herbs and various plants. Sustainability is embedded into the everyday routine. Children are encouraged to assist with the worm farm, compost heap, turning lights off when not in the room, collecting water when it rains and recycling and reusing a variety of materials.

Families are also are encouraged to become involved to strengthen the link between home and care. This is supported through face-to-face communication with our educators, as well as a secure daily blog and photo gallery of your child’s learning experiences.
